Cricket is Ten Years Old!

We missed celebrating Cricket’s big birthday recently, because Miss Butterfly has been having health issues that are distracting all of us. She was in the hospital for almost five days, but I will tell you more about that next week. Cricket has been too anxious to celebrate up until today (though a chicken treat has never gone uneaten). Now that Butterfly is home, it’s time for all of us to focus on Miss Cricket’s big milestone birthday.

    Happy Birthday to Cricket. Our dog Grace is also 10 and we also have had her since she was a puppy. I am so sorry to hear about Butterfly. While it is great to have her home, it is also painful to be dealing with her health challenges. I hope she can give you several more years of mischief and love. Peace.

    Happy Birthday Ms Cricket…I too turned 10 this year (last month)…and it’s hard to believe that in dog years we’re 70! Much too spry and interested for that kind of age, and it’s a human thing anyway, counting the years. My mommy loves to read about you and Butterfly and your adventures. Keep the stories coming!
