Cricket got her hair done for Yom Kippur. You can see how thrilled she is about that.
With all of the repentance and atonement of the Jewish High Holidays, I find myself at a loss for words. I’ll let Cricket speak for me this week.

“What do I have to repent for?”

“I’m perfect just the way I am.”

“Can you hear me, God?”

“How much longer is this freakin’ holiday?!”

“Is it almost over?”

“Finally. Thank God.”
Well put Cricket!
Woof!
So cute!!
Thank you!
A belated Shanah tovah!
Fingers crossed for a healthy and happy new year!
Sunset arrived! Another day of atoning over. Peace.
Thank God!
Good thing it’s just once a year for you. We Catholics are often reminded every Sunday!
Oy. No fun at all.
No kidding.
Cute!
Thank you!
Love the photo with the stick!
So does Cricket!
If God doesn’t listen to you, bite him.
Sounds like a plan.
Perfect!
Thank you!
Clever Cricket. Yom Kippur often falls on or near my birthday.
Cricket is considering ways of outlawing Yom Kippur, especially the my-people-keep-leaving-me-alone part of the day.
Delightful!
Thank you!
Cricket has much to be thankful fur. Happy New Year.
She does not believe that, Nope. Where’s the chicken?
I swear Cricket can read your mind 🙂
Ha!!!!!
It’s as if Cricket is almost human…. almost.
She’s pretty sure she’s better than human.
😊❤️
Now that is an articulate dog! Bet a lot of humans ask the same questions.
I think there should be time out for support groups at the synagogue, throughout the high holidays. Cricket could be the moderator.
Aww…too cute! (灬♥ω♥灬)
Thank you!
That’s darling. Thank you! …
Thank you!
She is so clever and I just love the last photo 🙂
Thank you! She agrees with you, of course.
🙂
😂😂💕
Those are wonderful pics! I especially love Cricket with the stick. 🙂
Me too! Thank you!
Funny! Maybe dogs don’t need to observe Yom Kippur? They are perfect just the way they are. LOL.
It’s true!
Perfect captions for the pictures. I think Cricket looks awesome with his new haircut.
Thank you! She’s still thinking about it.
Soooo adorable!!!
Thank you!
Cute, cute, cute 🙂
Thank you!
Cricket: always the voice of reason. Cricket, I might lean on you when Lent starts. 40 freakin’ days! Oy.
She’s ready!
Looks like Cricket was hitting the Mogen David concord grape wine just wee bit too hard. 🙂
Ha! She gets drunk on chopped liver.
Well put cricket!
What a lovely collection of photo’s here Rachel , Cricket looks as though she is smiling on the last one.
Wishing you well x
Thank you!
Cricket…You’ve said it all! ❤
Love it!
Thank you!
I know this is such a sad holiday season for you this year, but Cricket looks like she’s ready to party after her visit to the groomer! She looks so precious!
Thank you! Cricket actually loves her groomer, until she remembers what they do to her when she goes there.
That dog is possessed!
I enjoy reading Cricket’s version of your blog too. LOL Also since I’ve been enjoying learning more and more about Jewish ‘life’ from my lovely endearing boss, it is intriguing and interesting to continue to LEARN so much. Thank you Rachel for also being one of my ‘teachers’… 🙂
Thank you!!!
If only all people of faith were as funny as you and Cricket! (Whoops, I mean “beings” of faith. Sorry, Cricket.)
Cricket’s faith is almost entirely focused on chicken. If she gets enough chicken to eat, the world is a wonderful place!
That was hilarious, thanks, also thanks for the follow.
Cute, I am going to reblog it for you.
Thank you!
Reblogged this on Truth Troubles.
Not only good-looking but an articulate dog that Cricket is. Happy New Year!
Adorable cricket commentaries!😊
